Invisalign and Teeth Straightening

2 - Visit Smile

Porcelain Veneers or Porcelain 3/4 Crowns can be used to straighten crooked teeth for those individuals who do not want to wear braces or aligners for over a period of a year or more. The two visit porcelain veneer technique (Also referred to as Porcelain Laminates) can literally give you straight looking teeth in two simple and quick visits. The technique involves preparing tooth structure and taking an impression of the prepared teeth which are then sent to a dental lab.

Temporary composite Veneers are made to cover the prepared teeth between the two visits while the permanent porcelain veneers are being fabricated in the dental lab.

In the dental lab, our Ceramist will make custom Porcelain Veneers or custom 3/4 porcelain crowns, that will make your teeth look straight again. Once made, they will send the porcelain veneers to our office, where we will remove your temporary composite veneers and permanently bond your new porcelain veneers to the previously prepared teeth.

The result is a new set of teeth that look straight and even. An important advantage of this technique is that you can also change the size, shape, and color of your teeth while straightening your teeth. The results are dramatic and most of all, can be accomplished in only 2 simple and painless visits.

Invisalign

Invisalign Clear Braces are a modern way to straighten crooked teeth. This technique involves taking an impression of your crooked teeth and making a modelof them.

The model is then scanned into a computer so that it can be scientifically analyzed for tooth alignment and correction.

Once the crooked teeth are digitized on the computer they can be rearranged and morphed into a series of models, the last of which is your final model of your straight teeth. On each of these models, clear plastic aligners are made. The aligners are removed from the model and given to the patient to wear in succession, changing each aligner, every six weeks. Once you wear all the aligners your teeth will be straight again without any noticeable crooked teeth.
